Busy Season

I’ve been feeling ragged, lately. This semester is tiring and I have a crazy case of senioritis. I really just want to be back on a 9-5 schedule with no homework or reading to do in the evenings. I cannot wait until this is a possibility. I just have to get through the rest of this semester and the spring semester. It drags on…

It is cold here and I need to do some yardwork/cleanup today. I think I might make some pumpkin pies as well. I am on my fall break so it is going to be nice to have some time to rest and/or get some stuff around the house finished. Tripp and I (or I should just say Tripp mostly) did some housework, yesterday. The inside looks great, but the the back of the house is wretched.

We went to the Ketner’s Mill Fair, yesterday. I had a great time. It was cold and soggy, but I thought it was perfect. It feels as if fall has actually arrived and I love it. The fair, itself, was very authentic. What I mean by that is that many of these country “craft” fairs have gotten really commercial and allow mass produced items and vendors to come sell at them. I don’t think I saw one vendor like this and most were from the local community. It had a great atmosphere to it and although the weather dreary and overcast, most people seemed to be having a good time. Tripp and I had hot apple cider, boiled peanuts, and curly potatoes. Tripp also had to buy himself some fried pies as we left.

I was going to go to the Cleveland Apple Festival, today, but I need to get some stuff done around the house. I don’t know if I’ll have time to go up there.
